End Times Alliances/Gog and Magog/Wars and RumorsBIRTH PAINS:
Jesus gave a description of the world just before His return. It is recorded in Matthew 24.
He said,
“You will hear of wars and rumors of wars… Nation will rise against nation… There will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows.”
The phrase “beginning of sorrows” comes from the Greek word ὠδίνων (ōdinōn).
It means birth pains.
Not the end. Not the delivery. The contractions that come before it.
Now look at the world in 2026.
Hypersonic missiles that move faster than interception systems. AI-guided drone swarms capable of autonomous warfare. Nuclear threats openly discussed again among major powers. Rising tension between Russia, Iran, Israel, and NATO. Cyber warfare targeting power grids, banking systems, and water infrastructure. Military expansion into space. Global surveillance capabilities beyond anything in human history. Digital currency systems capable of controlling buying and selling. Moral collapse normalized and celebrated. Mass deception spreading through algorithmic manipulation.
This is not one crisis.
It is convergence.
Jesus said the birth pains would increase in frequency and intensity.
That is exactly how labor works.
At first the contractions are spaced apart. Then they come closer together. Stronger. More unavoidable.
But Jesus also gave an important instruction.
“See that you are not troubled.”
Why?
Because birth pains mean something is about to be born.
Scripture said Israel would return to the land. It has.
Scripture said Jerusalem would become the center of global tension. It has.
Scripture said the nations would gather against Israel. That alignment is forming.
Scripture said a system capable of controlling buying and selling would exist. Today the technology clearly exists.
For the first time in human history, every mechanism described in end-time prophecy is technologically possible.
This generation is watching the stage being set.
The real question is not whether the world looks frightening.
The real question is whether you are ready.
Jesus did not die to leave humanity in fear. He died to offer rescue.
Birth pains do not signal destruction for the believer.
They signal that redemption is getting close.
Luke 21:28 says,
“When these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near.”
Look up.
Not down at the headlines.
Up.
This is not the time for spiritual sleep. This is the time to wake up.
If these are the birth pains, the delivery may be closer than most people think.
Are you watching?
